Flying Phantom Ship (Japanese: Soratobu Yūreisen) is a 1969 Japanese animated science-fiction adventure produced by Toei Animation. The film follows Hayato, a young boy whose parents are killed in a mysterious attack linked to a legendary ghost ship. As he searches for the truth, Hayato uncovers a conspiracy involving robots, a ruthless corporation, and a deadly mecha known as the Giant Robot. Notably, Hayao Miyazaki was responsible for animating one of the film’s most dynamic and famous chase sequences.
