Moomin (1969)
Moomin (ムーミン) is the first anime adaptation of Tove Jansson’s beloved Moomin stories. Produced in 1969 by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and Zuiyo Enterprise, the series follows the whimsical adventures of Moomintroll, his family, and friends in the Moomin Valley. Known for its lighthearted humor and gentle lessons, this early anime introduced Japanese audiences to the magical Scandinavian world of the Moomins. It aired for 26 episodes between 1969 and 1970.
